Early Reviews

"Mindblowing read!!!! This was a brilliant story that kept me guessing and invested throughout the story. I was tired, but I needed more and kept reading until I finished this. I sat in silence processing it and letting it soak in. This is the type of book I love. It felt so full of possibilities and promises that resonated with me. A must read."

"Reading Fixed Point took me on a journey through time. The fast paced adventure held my attention through out the entire journey. I devoured this book trying to read faster and faster for the conclusion. There were character twists and developments that I was not prepared to unfold. Fixed point follows two main characters. One trying to solve a bombing and the pleading her innocence. The doubtful FBI agent learns there is more to our world than what meets the eye. Time travel is very real and possible. Her suspect holds the key to her entire investigation. No one can change their fate. You cannot change anything. I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure."
Kristan - reader reviewer
"Twisted Time Thriller. Anyone who has watched and remembers, or even the commercials, will know the reference to the name 'Mulder'. That was a dead give away that this would not be a simple straight forward story, and it was not! It kept me going at every change to know that it was not over, yet. Right up to the end, and is it over...? I loved the passion for the work, safety, knowledge, and wanting to know what they do not remember, and why it just does not 'feel right'. Thank you, Lynn M. Kristopher, for a great story!"
Tina - reader reviewer
"A convoluted mystery full of twists and turns. An enjoyable read."
Maria - reader reviewer
"A thrilling read that twists and lays down false trails. A bomber from the past that has pulled Olivia into their grasp. Blamed for the explosion by others, but did she actually do the deed. Only a few believe her innocent and she isn't sure herself. A thriller that will hold your interest. And maybe a few shivers from memories of trying to complete your own PHD programs."

The first time I saw my husband die was on a Wednesday.

I remember because I’d been late for my lecture—the quantum entanglement seminar I taught to a dozen glassy-eyed postgrads who’d rather be anywhere else—and I’d forgotten my presentation clicker. Marcus, ever reliable, was bringing it to my office.

He waved from across the street, that familiar smile I’d woken up to for eight years. The clicker was in his hand, held up like a trophy he’d won just for me. That’s when the blue sedan jumped the curb.

I screamed. I must have. My throat was raw afterward. But in that moment, I heard nothing. Not the impact. Not the screeching tires. Not the horrified gasps from the students around me. Just a perfect, pristine silence as if the universe itself had paused to acknowledge that something fundamental had been altered.

I remember falling to my knees. I remember hands on my shoulders. I remember someone saying they’d called an ambulance.

What I don’t remember is going home. Yet somehow, that’s where I found myself at 7:13 that evening, sitting at our kitchen table, staring at the half-empty cup of coffee Marcus had left that morning. The surface tension had broken; a thin film had formed. Four hours and twenty-two minutes, I calculated absently. That’s how long coffee stays warm in a ceramic mug under standard atmospheric conditions.

At 7:14, I heard his key in the lock.

“Sorry I’m late,” Marcus called from the hallway. “Department meeting ran long. Have you eaten?”

I didn’t answer. Couldn’t answer. He was dead. I had watched him die.

He appeared in the doorway, very much alive, his brow furrowed with concern.

“El? You okay?”

And that’s when I noticed it—the quantum measurement problem made manifest in my kitchen. His tie was blue. The tie he’d been wearing that morning, when he’d kissed me goodbye, when he’d died right in front of me, had been red.
